In the Dominican Republic, many young athletes grow up dreaming of baseball and softball. For some, that dream can open doors. But too often, the pursuit of sports success comes at the expense of education.

Empower Baseball exists to change that.

We are an education-first youth development nonprofit serving children in the Dominican Republic through structured baseball and softball programming, academic support, mentorship, and daily encouragement. Our mission is to help kids grow not only as athletes, but as students, leaders, and future community builders.

We believe a child should never have to choose between chasing a dream and staying in school.

Why This Matters

In many underserved communities, children face barriers that make it difficult to stay on track academically. Families may struggle with transportation, school costs, uniforms, tutoring, and basic support needs. At the same time, gifted young athletes are often pulled toward sports systems that value talent before education.

Empower Baseball was created in response to that reality.

We work with youth in the Dominican Republic to provide:

Baseball and softball training in a structured environment.
Mentorship that reinforces discipline, responsibility, and confidence.
Transportation and practical support so kids can keep showing up.
