SOAR’s Community Grant Program empowers schools, small businesses, and community organizations by addressing resource gaps that stifle creativity and growth. From 2020 to 2023, we delivered $36,000 in art/craft supplies and small business inventory to 29 recipients across NYC, alongside securing critical storage space to ensure equitable distribution.

What We Achieved

Thanks to SOAR’s initial investment, we:

- Purchased & Distributed $29,000 in Supplies: Provided art/craft materials and inventory to 29 schools, small businesses, and families across NYC.

- Paid $7,000 for Storage: Secured climate-controlled space to organize and protect materials for equitable distribution.

Why We Need Your Support

To sustain this critical work, we’re raising $45,000 to:

1. Replenish $36,000: Cover costs already spent on supplies and storage.

2. Fuel the Next Round: Allocate $9,000 to year-end grants for schools and businesses in underserved neighborhoods.

Strengthening Opportunities Actions Resources (S.O.A.R.), was formed to offer youths ages 4 – 24 and adults 25 years and up, community-based growth opportunities. We believe every individual—regardless of age, background, or circumstance—deserves access to transformative opportunities that unlock their full potential. Since 2016, we’ve served as a catalyst for growth, creativity, and resilience, empowering youth and adults across New York City through dynamic programs that bridge education, wellness, and community empowerment.
