In the 2025 legislative session, 616 anti-LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Queer/questioning, intersex, asexual, and more) bills were introduced in the US. Idaho was one of the states with the HIGHEST numbers of introduced bills - 16, seven on which were signed into law. Additionally, Idaho is known for some of the most severe anti-trans legislation in the country. In McCall, and our surrounding communities - the "+" in McCall+ Pride, we know community is the antidote to hate and fear. Donating to us, and other Idaho LGBTQIA+ organizations, helps us build safer, more caring, and more resilient communities. We can better connect LGBTQIA+ people with resources, services, and one-another - improving mental health outcomes like reducing suicide, increasing visibility, and improving folks overall quality of life. 

Our goal is to raise $7,000 for the seven pieces of legislation passed into Idaho law in 2025. Every dollar helps us create the community we want to see and live in despite these scary and dangerous times. Every donation makes a significant impact, no matter how big or small. Together we can create a thriving, welcoming West Central Mountains community for everyone, including 2SLGBTQIA+ folks.
