Friends of Holstein Park is run by volunteers from the Bucktown community. All money raised by our organization goes back to the community in our support of Holstein Park, Senior Citizens Memorial Park, and Ehrler Park. We love bringing the community together and your support has allowed us to host various events in 2024:

In 2024, we have accomplished:

Installed a new shuffleboard court with two park benches at Senior Citizens
Facilitated regrading and reseeding at Ehrler Park
Fundraised for our new nature play space at Senior Citizens
Purchased materials for the fieldhouse, including a storage shed, water fountain, and big blue blocks.

Our goals for 2025:

A resurfacing of the playground at Holstein Park- Spring 2025
Creation of a nature play space at Senior Citizens - Spring 2025
Planting at Ehrler Park - Spring 2025
A new softball infield at Holstein - Fall 2025
A leveled, reseeded Holstein Field - Fall 2025
