More seniors are facing food insecurity than ever before. That is why we are raising funds to deliver 38,400 culturally-sensitive hot meals to low-income Asian seniors in Oakland, San Leandro, and Hayward in the coming year.

Launched in May 2020 as a temporary pandemic relief effort, KCCEB’s “Give a Meal of Love” program is still going strong because low-income seniors depend on the meals we provide. Today, we serve 270 seniors across the East Bay, delivering 810 meals weekly. We have our sights set on expanding this program because more than 100 seniors are on our waitlist.
