Grants that once covered most of our work are shrinking, but the calls for help aren’t. When you give today, you help keep the HELPline answered, shelter available, forensic exams provided, and advocacy in place for people in crisis across North Alabama, without anyone ever receiving a bill.

• $15 helps replace vital documents left behind when fleeing domestic violence in the middle of the night.
• $50 makes sure a survivor can be seen right away for a domestic violence exam. Injuries documented, safety discussed, and no bill waiting.
• $75 helps cover the electricity that keeps our doors open, our shelter lit, and our 24/7 HELPline powered for one day.
• $250 protects a full day of HELPline coverage, so every hour—3 a.m. included—has a trained person ready to listen and act.
• $400 provides a trauma-informed sexual assault exam where evidence is collected with care, medications are given, and an advocate stands beside the survivor, all at no cost.
