Anya left her hometown in Ukraine after the war started in early 2022. She resettled in Poland, but life continued to be stressful and scary.

When Anya attended a CWB clown show at her resettlement center, she played, lept in the air, and laughed. She said,

“I am so happy. I don’t remember the last time I was this happy.”
