Giving Tuesday
Since our founding in October 2023, the Boston LGBTQ+ Museum of Art, History & Culture has been driven by social justice ideals and a shared vision of our founding board of directors and community. The need for a cultural institution dedicated to honoring the history and contributions of Boston’s LGBTQ+ community, has led us to launch an ambitious slate of programs and initiatives while we work towards the vision and goal of a permanent space.
In just two years, we have presented six exhibitions, hosted multiple gallery activations, and produced the Queer Arts Festival, creating platforms for education, awareness, and celebration of LGBTQ+ culture. Our team remains committed to researching, collecting, conserving, interpreting, and exhibiting arts that celebrate the lives and stories of LGBTQ+ people.
We continue to build welcoming, inclusive spaces that offer diverse experiences in art, history, and culture. Join us as we grow a vibrant cultural hub that fosters understanding, acceptance, and appreciation of LGBTQ+ contributions in Boston and beyond.
