Families Creating Together believes the power of the arts can be life-changing. Our mission is to provide multicultural, multilingual, intergenerational programs that offer inclusive opportunities for children of all abilities and their families.

"As the parent of two kids who are now in elementary and middle school, the Families Creating workshops have provided programming that is unique and unavailable elsewhere. The clear messaging around being welcoming to all ages and abilities meant that my children and I could participate together in a judgment-free zone. Parent-child art classes are just not offered for older children elsewhere. Together we have written poetry, made collages that still grace our kitchen years later, made a multimedia diorama reflecting our sadness about the damage to the Notre Dame Cathedral, made self portraits, clay figures and more. We have also enjoyed being with a diverse community during the classes" - Parent Participant
