We are starting a 2 week fundraising campaign with the hopes of raising $30,000!

We are thrilled to announce that the Giving Connection platform is ready to test! After months of working with our amazing development team at Telos Labs, we finally have a minimum viable product (MVP) that we want to share with you. Why do we need $30,000?

We want to improve our MVP and continue iterating the platform. Here are a few key areas are hoping to use donations towards.

Must have features -$20,000
- Our web developers provided an estimate of $20,000 for the must have features on our wishlist.
- Some of those must have features include: developing search pills, adding a donate button on nonprofit pages, enhancing our search optimization/prioritization, implementing hover over instructions to explain our filters, creating a browse by cause section to allow users to discover nonprofits in their area, improving search alerts, and so much more.
Nice to have features - $7,000
- Our web developers provided an estimate of $7,000 for the nice to have features on our wishlist.
- Some of those nice to have features include: allowing nonprofits to embed videos on their individual pages, adding filters for volunteer, donation, and grant opportunities, improving the back end for nonprofits to manage their individual pages, enhancing map search capabilities, and more.
Platform infrastructure and ongoing support - $18,000 per year
- Our web developers will be maintaining our platform infrastructure which costs around $300 per month. They also estimated an additional $1,200 per month for ongoing support and any bugs that arise.
AccessiBe membership - $600 per year
- AccessiBe is a leading AI-powered web accessibility solution that makes websites accessible to people with disabilities, and compliant with the WCAG, ADA, and other accessibility legislation. This application ensures that our website is accessible to blind people, people with motor impairments, visual impairments, cognitive disabilities, and more.

How can you help us reach $30,000?

We cannot thank you enough for your contributions that helped us build our MVP. In order to continue this work and expand our platform, we are asking for your help again. Here are some ways you can help us fundraise:

Donate financially - Every little bit truly helps. For just $55, your donation will help fund one hour of web development to improve our platform.
Donate your time - If you are unable to donate financially, our Special Projects Committee is looking for passionate individuals to research grant opportunities and other ways to keep Giving Connection financially secure. Email us for more information!
