🐾 Help Save Our Tiny Fighter, Gizmo!

Gizmo has already beaten the odds more times than we can count.
He came to Rescue Oasis Foundation as a fragile neonatal kitten who could barely breathe — battling pneumonia, living in an oxygen incubator, and enduring daily injections for FIP.

He was also born with pectus excavatum, a chest deformity that makes every breath harder than it should be (his lungs don’t have enough space to expand).
But through it all, Gizmo has never stopped purring, playing, or believing in the kindness of strangers.

Now, Gizmo is under the care of specialists at The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center.
His heart is strong 💗 and he’s in observation for FIP, but within the next two weeks, our team and his doctors will decide whether to move forward with surgery to expand his chest and help him finally breathe with ease.

To make sure no door is ever closed for him, we’re raising $4,000 to prepare for his surgery and continued care.

Any unused funds will go directly toward saving other fragile neonatal kittens like Gizmo — the ones too often labeled as “failure to thrive.”
We believe that with the right knowledge, care, and compassion, even the most fragile lives can flourish.

That’s the heart of Rescue Oasis — standing in the gap for kittens who might otherwise be given up on.
Because fragility isn’t failure; it’s a call to action.
And every success story, like Gizmo’s, proves what’s possible when love and determination meet medical care and hope.

Your donation will help cover Gizmo’s surgery, hospitalization, imaging, fluids, and medications — everything that gives him the best possible chance at a long, joyful life filled with the love he’s fought so hard to reach.

Thank you for believing that every life is worth fighting for. 💕
