I am a transplanted New Yorker. I have been in Florida since 1995. I can’t imagine living anywhere else.

I am the manager at Catalina Beach Club in Daytona Beach. It’s a time share resort. I fell into this job! Little did I know when I started here that I would one day be managing this resort. I love meeting new people and that is what I enjoy the most about this position, the interaction with our owners from all over the states and abroad. Plus, I get to see the beach every single day. It doesn’t get any better than that!

When I’m not at the job I love or spending time with my family, my favorite thing to do is travel. This past November, I finally had the chance to visit Paris, and it was an incredible experience! I’ve already booked my next trip. Venice, Florence and Rome, here I come. 

I enjoy the outdoors, yoga, reading, dancing. What surprises people the most is when they find out I joined the Peace Corps as a volunteer in Cameroon, Africa at 55. It was quite the experience. I met so many wonderful people. It changed my life!
