Born and raised in Michigan, I have spent over two decades in Orlando, dedicating my life to strengthening communities and creating access to opportunities for those in need. With more than 23 years in the nonprofit sector, I have built a career on bridging generosity with impact—helping people turn their kindness into meaningful action through giving. Currently, I serve as the Development Officer for IDignity Orlando, an organization that restores dignity and access to essential resources by helping individuals obtain legal identification.
My journey in philanthropy and community engagement has led me to serve on numerous leadership boards, including the League of Women Voters Orange County and Women United Advisory Committee for the Heart of Florida United Way. I am also a proud graduate of Leadership Orlando Class 102, the Black Boardroom Leadership Institute (2022), Mayor Demings 2024 inaugural Citizens Academy and ATHENA NextGen (2023), where I’ve had the privilege of learning alongside some of the most dynamic change-makers in our community.
Beyond my professional work, I believe in the power of storytelling, connection, and advocacy. I find joy in creating spaces where voices are heard, resources are shared, and lives are transformed. When I’m not championing causes, you can find me spending time with my husband, Durwin, our resilient son, Conner, and our ever-energetic Doberman, Harley.
I’m excited to walk this runway, not just in style, but in solidarity with a mission that uplifts children and empowers futures. Let’s make an impact together!
