Join the Alliance for American Leadership as we hit the road to restore U.S. global leadership - one campus, one conversation, and one future leader at a time.
The Mission
Over the past six months, we've built A4AL campus chapters on over 100 college campuses across 48 states. In January, we're we’re embarking on a cross-country road trip to visit all 100 college campuses - mobilizing the next generation of advocates for smart, effective U.S. foreign aid.
From Maine to Mississippi, our team will meet with students, host roundtables, and train new advocates to push Congress to restore the global development programs that save lives, fight poverty, and strengthen America’s role in the world.
Because American leadership starts with the people who believe in it - and it’s our job to make sure their voices are heard.
The Crisis
On January 24, 2025, the United States cut off access to food, medicine, and education for 120 million people across the globe. Since then, over 500,000 lives have been lost - among them, Peter Donde, a 10-year-old boy who died after losing access to HIV medication.
Unless Congress restores these programs, a study in The Lancet warns that up to 14 million more lives could be lost by 2030.
We refuse to let that happen without a fight.
That’s why we’re taking this campaign on the road - to build the grassroots pressure Congress can’t ignore.
What We Do
A4AL doesn’t fund aid programs directly. We draft policy, lobby Congress, and support campaigns that determine whether billions in global health, education, and food security programs live or die.
Restoring America’s $40 billion in foreign assistance isn’t charity - it’s strategy. It fights poverty, prevents pandemics, and strengthens U.S. national security.
And it works
650 meetings with key congressional staffers.
800 advocates mobilized across all 50 states.
$400 million in global healthcare funding protected from rescissions.
100 campus chapters and growing.
Now, it’s time to grow each of our campus chapters and create a national movement
The Road Trip
Asher Moss and Rina Bruk Levy will travel across America this fall - meeting students, organizing local events, and training the next generation of leaders in policy advocacy, communications, and civic engagement.
Each stop builds momentum. Each conversation plants a seed. Together, they create a movement capable of reshaping America’s global role for decades to come.
This is grassroots diplomacy - powered by students, built on conviction, and driven by hope.
What Your Donation Supports
Every dollar goes directly toward the road trip - not salaries or overhead.
Your support helps us:
Fuel the journey - gas, travel, and lodging for Rina and Asher. (Reach out to [email protected] if you can host us for a night - we're seeking to cut costs as much as possible).
Host campus events - t-shirts, dorm room posters, and voter registration drives.
Train new advocates - workshops on advocacy, media, and global development policy.
Share stories nationwide - videos, digital updates, and local TV and radio appearances at every stop.
Our Goal: $25,000
We need to raise $25,000 to cover travel costs, digital outreach, and voter registration along the route.
Every contribution will be matched dollar-for-dollar by supporters including Joel Stennett and Michael Belitzky - doubling your impact and fueling twice as many miles, events, and advocates.
Who We Are
The Alliance for American Leadership (A4AL) is a nonpartisan political action committee dedicated to revitalizing U.S. global leadership through development. We’re powered entirely by volunteers - every member of our leadership team serves without pay.
Our coalition includes voices from USAID, Congress, the Pentagon, State, and over 100 college campuses. Together, we’re building a generation of informed, engaged leaders ready to make foreign policy a public priority again.
