This event brings together professionals, educators, service providers, and caregivers to strengthen the systems of support surrounding LGBTQ+ youth. Through expert-led workshops and keynote programming, attendees will explore current best practices and strategies to foster inclusive, affirming, and safe environments for young people.

Why This Event Matters

LGBTQ+ youth continue to face disproportionate challenges related to mental health, safety, access to affirming care, and social support—especially when compounded by other identities such as neurodivergence, race, or disability. These disparities are often made worse by a lack of understanding, insufficient training, and systemic barriers within schools, healthcare, and family systems.

Pride In Practice was created to address these gaps by fostering collaboration across sectors and centering the voices and needs of LGBTQ+ young people. By equipping professionals and caregivers with inclusive, evidence-informed tools, this conference seeks to strengthen the environments in which LGBTQ+ youth live, learn, and grow. The event reflects a shared commitment to creating safer, more affirming communities where all youth can thrive.
