The social, cultural, and environmental attributes are the fringe benefits of sound economic strategies that use energy, food, and the elimination of waste as the means to create good jobs that keep the cost of living low and the quality of life high for all members of the community.

This course is intended to help you navigate the strange new world of regenerative economics as it pertains to capital improvements, comprehensive economic development strategies, and good governance of an engaged populace. Permaculture guides the conversation of an economic formula that constantly regenerates itself instead of the system of rampant consumption we have today. Regenerative economics provide the world view of a system we all share and of which we are all stewards. The Just Communities framework isn’t just a local process through which to bring people to the table it serves as the table where everyone finds nourishment far beyond food and well into the future.
