At the core of Democracy Summer is the belief in the importance of empowering young adults to participate in the political process. Each individual in the 26th cohort brings their unique experiences, vibrant energy, and unshakeable determination and puts it towards a movement bigger than all of us. 

As a retuning 2nd-Year intern, my role is to ensure that friendterns have the support and guidance they need in order to make the most of this summer. I will also participate in Democracy NC's overall mission of promoting an inclusive democracy and fair elections.
