INWARD SPACE 🖤

Inward Space began quietly in 2023. First as an Instagram page where I shared personal development reflections, mindset reminders, and the things I was learning as a life coach. But beneath that was a deeper truth I could feel: people were craving connection again. After years of isolation and uncertainty during COVID, so many of us were longing for spaces to slow down, breathe, and simply be ourselves without judgment.

As I started attending in-person gatherings again, I kept noticing the same thing: people needed community, softness, and room to exhale. And I knew I had the gift of creating those kinds of environments. I’ve always been someone who brings people together, who leads with empathy, who holds space in a grounded and intentional way.

So Inward Space grew from a page into a community. A place where people can return home to themselves, connect with others, and choose joy even in the midst of their messy, beautiful, everyday lives.

It’s still evolving, but the mission remains the same: to create meaningful, intentional spaces (IRL and online) where people can breathe, reflect, heal, and feel connected.

LEGACIES LIVE ON 🖤

My dad unfortunately passed away from brain cancer in September 2018. When it happened, grief struck me hard, and I felt an immense feeling of isolation, helplessness and sadness. I also felt this longing to honor his memory and carry his legacy forward. While I'm thankful I had my faith and a community of friends and family who supported me, I desired to have a support group of other young people who were grieving to talk to. I kept thinking - "There must be other people like me who are trying to adjust to their new normal and build community, all while figuring out their purpose in life!"

So, I decided to create a nonprofit with that specific mission in mind, and I enlisted the support of close friends and family who wanted to embark on this journey of helping others in their most difficult moments. While bonding over debilitating grief is certainly not something that we wish for, I wanted to make sure there was a safe space and community of individuals like me people could come to and lean on. From there, Legacies Live On was born.

Our organization offers a community to young adults who are grieving in the Greater New York City area and are focused on wellness, mental health and grief. We seek to empower and support our community by encouraging them to turn their pain into doing something positive for themselves and for their community. In doing so, they will honor their loved one's legacy with purpose.
