The proposed BVCSD Faculty-Staff Appreciation Event aims to recognize and celebrate the teachers and staff who are immensely dedicated to the students and families of the school district. The event will bring together faculty and staff for an evening not only to reflect on the year and promote collaboration, but most importantly, to show the community's appreciation for those on the front lines of serving and supporting the district's students.

By broadening participation through local donations and sponsorship, this project creates an opportunity to strengthen community collaboration and honor school staff and educators. Annually alternating between restaurants in Westport and Elizabethtown will also support local businesses' revenue.

An appreciation event is not only an opportunity to boost employee morale and sense of belonging, but also for sponsors and staff to collaborate and visibly recognize and express gratitude to the BVCSD teachers' and staff's work ethic and commitment, ideally strengthening relationships among educators, staff, sponsors, volunteers, and donors.
