The Target: Picher, Oklahoma For decades, the people of Picher have lived in the shadow of the 20th century's toxic jumpstart. The town was swallowed by massive "chat piles"—mountains of toxic lead and zinc mining waste. It is one of the most tragic environmental disasters in American history, and it is the exact reason The Elysium Fields Project was founded.

We aren't just going to cover those chat piles up. We are going to erase them.

Our first target—Site Zero—is a 100 MW solar installation paired with advanced hydrolysis tech right there in Picher. We will use free energy to pull that toxic lead and zinc out of the dirt, purify it, and sell it directly to the modern battery industry. We clean the earth, and the cleanup pays for itself.
