Stacyville Kids Care – Growing Together Project: Phase 1

At Stacyville Kids Care, we believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing place to grow and our community deserves reliable, high-quality child care. But today, we’re facing serious challenges.

Our current facility is:

• Not handicap accessible

• Severely limited in space to meet the growing needs of families

• Experiencing the need for extensive renovations 

Due to changes in state regulations, building exceptions that allowed us to operate in this space will no longer be accepted. Without a new, facility, Stacyville Kids Care may be forced to close. Ending years of vital service to families throughout Mitchell County.

That’s why we’re launching Phase 1 of the Growing Together Project. The brand-new facility will be able to:

• Serve up to 90 children

• Create new jobs in our community

• Provide a safe, accessible, and future-ready space for families

We’ve grown from caring for just 7 children in January 2024 to 30 children today with over 30 more on a waitlist.

The need is urgent. The time is now.
