In a time of national pain and loss, the work of connecting to Torah and mitzvot authentically is more important than ever. The Torah is our heritage, and Eretz Yisrael is our homeland. By planting seeds—both literal and spiritual—we can heal, grow, and build a sustainable future together.

When our students learn with us in our gardens, they reconnect to their roots. One student shared, “I feel like I am IN the Torah because of GrowTorah.” This transformative connection is at the heart of our mission.

Through programs like Shorashim, we bring garden-based Torah lessons to Jewish schools, blending the weekly Parsha with hands-on learning. Since 2016, we’ve inspired thousands of participants across 45 schools and camps in 10 states.

The impact is profound: in a recent survey of over 350 students, 86% feel a stronger connection to Torah through nature, 94% learned that caring for nature is integral to Torah, and 82% committed to personal growth in their middot—all inspired by GrowTorah’s programs.
