You can donate to Team Grow or Team Grit! OR you can create your own fundraising team! The team leader who raises the most at the end of 12 weeks will receive a Gritty Canvas t-shirt, printed by local print-shop Unsung Salvage Design!

The Gritty Canvas is not just a non-profit organization; it's a third place for those touched by cancer, offering geographically convenient support, and a community that understands the physical, emotional, and psychological battles that accompany this disease. Our mission is clear: to provide free, tangible, non-clinical support to individuals and caretakers affected by cancer. We focus on therapeutic art, which provides the benefits of skill acquisition, mental well-being and emotional expression, as well as fostering a supportive network, ensuring no one has to face this journey alone.

Our community group is designed with the input of the community. While the primary goal will be providing free-for-patient therapeutic art groups, we also hope to provide informational workshops and create peer support and in an effort to make a measurable impact. Our approach is about enhancing the quality of life for our members, instilling hope, and nurturing recovery and resilience in the face of adversity. Join us as we continue to paint a picture of hope and perseverance, transforming personal struggles into collective strength, and beautiful art!
