Vital Village Oregon is hosting an immersive Teen Survival Day Camp at McCredie Hot Springs on Saturday, May 10th, from 12 PM to 6 PM. This hands-on experience will educate and empower local teens with essential survival skills, foraging knowledge, and an introduction to the benefits of natural hot springs.

We Need Your Support! To make this adventure accessible to all youth, regardless of income, we are seeking $5,000 in funding to cover:

Survival Packs (35 total)
Expert Instruction
Transportation (Two 12-passenger vans)
Gas & Food

Why This Matters This six-hour educational program equips teens with vital outdoor survival skills, including:

Fire-starting techniques
Responsible interaction with nature
Fishing with handmade gear
Foraging & plant identification
Hiking & exploring natural terrain
Understanding the health benefits of hot springs

Each participant will receive a survival pack filled with essential gear, ensuring they leave with both knowledge and practical tools.
