This is Katie, president of Layla’s Heart Ranch and Rescue, a 501c3 dog rescue and animal sanctuary here in TX. 

We are doing a fundraiser for the completion of our sanctuary houses, our play yards (these are fenced in yards, like a back yard, where we conduct training, play fetch with the dogs and give them plenty of outdoor sunshine and room to run), and the rest of our exterior fencing for one side of our property. 

This fundraiser is imperative as we HAVE to be off of the old property entirely by end of day February 28th! That is only 26 days away and we have to complete these projects in order to make this happen. We have been given NO more time and ABSOLUTELY MUST have every single dog moved by the end of the month. This is a major task and expensive but has to be done and asap. 

We are working around the clock to make an incredible sanctuary ranch for our rescues. We want every dog in our rescue to have a house and be out of a kennel. 

We are one of the few sanctuaries in Texas and we rescue dogs that other rescues won’t. The misunderstood, the medical cases, the bait dogs, the dog fighting survivors, the strays, the dumped, the abandoned, the neglected, the abused and those that have no other options besides death. That’s us, a last chance rescue and sanctuary. Our sanctuary dogs spend the rest of their lives with us in a safe, loving environment that allows them to be who they are while helping them become the dogs they were always meant to be. 

To complete a sanctuary house (sanctuary houses are 8x8, so quite large) they need flooring, insulation, lights, ac/heat, a window and a doggy door that leads our to their own private backyard which we need fencing and concrete to complete those as well. 

Again, we MUST have every dog moved by February 28, which means we desperately need your help to complete the sanctuary houses so that the animals have a safe place to go. This is down to the wire!
