The Olathe Public Library Foundation is pleased to host author Candice Millard at the Indian Creek Library on Saturday, September 13 at 6 pm. Tickets are $75 and include dinner catered by the Olathe North High School Culinary Arts Program.

The Foundation is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year!

Candice Millard is the author of four New York Times bestselling books, including The River of Doubt: Theodore Roosevelt's Darkest Journey; Destiny of the Republic: A Tale of Madness, Medicine & the Murder of a President; Hero of the Empire: The Boer War, a Daring Escape and the Making of Winston Churchill; and River of the Gods: Genius, Courage and Betrayal in the Search for the Source of the Nile. She will speak about the importance of libraries and her personal history with them.
