9.11 Tribute Service 2025

The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 were unprecedented in our nation’s history. By day’s end, 2,977 innocent victims had been killed and more than 6,000 were injured. Yet, on a day of unimaginable loss, America was lifted up and united by acts of heroism and compassion. Fire, police, EMTs, military, as well as, citizens of every age, profession, and background responded with bravery and selflessness. One of those everyday heroes was Welles Remy Crowther, whom we annually honor as Service Hero. Their example proved that hope, courage, and patriotism could heal and strengthen a nation.

Annually, Project 351 unites, in partnership with the Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund at Home Base, to honor and remember the loved ones lost in the terrorist attacks, courageous First Responders and everyday heroes, and the bravery of those who answered the call-to-serve by enlisting in our military. Tribute Service reflects our belief in the power of hope and the urgent need for peace. And, recalls the spirit of community that helped unite and heal our nation in the months following the terrorist attacks in 2001.

A $35 donation will underwrite one of 1000 care packages that Project 351 leaders will assemble for local troops serving abroad.
