Tupouto'a Rebuild: Bringing Hope to a Remote Island

Tupouto'a Rebuild: Bringing Hope to a Remote Island

The Need: A few years ago, a tsunami devastated the tiny island of Nomuka in Tonga, destroying homes and wiping out the local Christian school. Today, middle and high school students are learning under tents and trees. Without a proper school building, an entire generation is at risk of losing access to quality, faith-based education.

Kingdom Impact: Nomuka is eight hours by boat from mainland Tonga – one of the most remote places imaginable. Yet God sees these students and Aid the Way is committed to helping build them a school. This isn't just about education – it's about investing into the future of young people who deserve to learn in safety, receive Christian-based instruction, and grow in their faith. In a place where the world has overlooked them, we're saying: you matter to God and you matter to us.

The Initiative: Aid the Way is funding Phase 1 of the Tupouto'a school rebuild with an initial investment of $18,000. This covers the foundational groundwork essential to construction: engineering plans, ground preparation, and rough work that will prepare the way for a permanent school building.

Because even on the most remote island in the Pacific, every child deserves a safe place to learn and to know they are seen and loved by God. Will you join us?
