Peer Education Program

For over 25 years we’ve had the wonderful experience of training peer educators (ages 15-25) to teach teens about disordered eating and body hatred prevention through classroom presentations. Beyond Hunger’s multi-media classroom presentation helped educate students around the Bay Area focusing on ending Body Hatred and Eating Disorders! We are so grateful to all the peer educators who have participated in this wonderful program over the years!

We currently are raising funds to continue this program in schools & youth programs around the Bay Area. We want to make sure we can continue to go to schools, regardless of their budget, to educate our youth about the importance of positive body image and the dangers of eating disorders.
