🎨 Bringing Creativity to Life in Grand Junction

The GVCA Community Art Studio is a creative hub designed to provide artists, makers, and entrepreneurs with the space, tools, and resources needed to bring their ideas to life. Located in Grand Junction’s Creative District, this 5,900 sq. ft. space will offer affordable studio access, workshops, and professional-grade equipment, ensuring creatives of all backgrounds have a place to learn, collaborate, and grow. 

Why This Matters 

Grand Junction is home to a vibrant creative community, but many artists lack access to affordable, professional studio space. Public surveys confirm a strong demand for a dedicated community studio. This project will:

✅ Provide the only public fiber arts dye kitchen within 100 miles and the only solvent-free printmaking studio in the region.
✅ Support local artists and creative businesses through affordable studio access, education, and networking.
✅ Contribute to Grand Junction’s creative economy, fostering arts tourism and small business growth.

What We’re Creating

With your help, we will transform this space into:
Ceramics Studio – Equipped with pottery wheels, kilns, slab roller, and glazing stations for all skill levels.
Print & Fiber Arts Studio – Featuring solvent-free printmaking presses, bookbinding tools, a dye kitchen, and textile workspaces.
Community Art Space – A flexible, multi-use studio for co-working, exhibitions, workshops, and interactive art experiences.

🚧 How You Can Help

We are raising over $1.8 million to purchase and renovate the GVCA Studio & Makerspace, creating a hub for artists, makers, and creative entrepreneurs.
