Hamza has become very interested in providing Mutual Aid with his 8 year old sister Zaineb to the other children near them in the displacement camps! For Eid they passed out treats to kids and he said "It gave me an indescribable joy!"

So, please join us in supporting 18 year old Hamza Banner’s family of 8’s survival in the Deir al-Balah camps!

Hamza, an 18 year old from Shujaiya who is currently displaced in Deir al-Balah. He, his parents and his 5 siblings (youngest sibling is 8 years old!) are living in a tent together. Their home was destroyed by the occupation and they are in need of basic survival necessities like food and water.

Hamza was hoping to study technology and information (design and production) in University, but now he dreams of surviving so he can travel. He loves playing soccer and watching the matches!

They are from the neighborhood of Shujaiya, one of the largest neighborhoods in Gah-zah that has been largely destroyed. Hamza and his family have been displaced to the camps in Deir Al-Balah - a city in central Gah-zah strip. He is living in one tent with his 2 parents and 5 siblings (the youngest of whom is 8!). As the relentless siege continues, I ask you to soften your heart and give what you can for Hamza and his family's ongoing survival needs. The cost of the goods that are actually available are skyrocketing. Together we can make a difference.

Hamza's Story in his words (edited for clarity):

Hi world, my name is Hamza Banar,

I'm 18 years old, I'm organizing this campaign for me and my family, I am from the North of Gaza, now displaced, homeless, with only our clothes. Our home is lies in ruins today.

This was the house that brought us together, and now we are scattered, struggling for food, medicine, and shelter.

The "war" has been ongoing for four months now, The recent bombings in Gaza have shattered our lives and everything, leaving my family and me homeless and without any possessions. We are living in tragic and difficult circumstances in a "tent" on the street.

The recent hardships have taken a toll, leaving us with the daunting task of rebuilding what once stood proudly as a symbol of stability and warmth.

Now, I find myself in a position where I must humbly seek your support to rebuild what has been lost . I am launching this fundraiser to gather the necessary resources for reconstructing my family's home.

Every donation, regardless of its size, will make a significant difference in helping us rebuild our lives and provide the essentials for our family. We are in a fragile situation, with looming debts for the home that is now destroyed. Your support during this incredibly difficult time will give us hope in the midst of despair. Your generosity will not only help us secure a roof over our heads again, but it will also restore our faith in the kindness of humanity
