Thank you for supporting Community Fruit Rescue!

Your generosity helps sustain the full cycle of our work — from caring for fruit trees, to harvesting and preserving fruit, to sharing it with our community. We are deeply grateful for your support.

Since 2014, Community Fruit Rescue has worked throughout Boulder County to care for urban fruit trees and rescue surplus fruit that would otherwise go to waste. Through thoughtful tree care, community harvests, and fruit preservation, we reduce food waste, minimize greenhouse gas emissions, support coexistence with local wildlife, build resilient communities, and increase equitable access to fresh, healthy, local food.

Thanks to supporters like you, we have harvested tens of thousands of pounds of fruit, organized hundreds of community harvests, engaged a growing network of volunteers, and expanded our fruit preservation efforts to ensure more of this local bounty can be enjoyed year-round. Instead of falling to the ground, rotting, and attracting wildlife, fruit is carefully tended, harvested, preserved, and donated to local families and partners in need.

Your contribution directly supports this circular approach — caring for trees, coordinating harvests, preserving fruit, and ensuring it reaches our community where it’s needed most.

We hope you’ll stay connected and continue to see the impact of your generosity. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram, visit our website, or feel free to reach out to us anytime.

Fruitfully yours,
The Community Fruit Rescue Team
