A Tribute to My Beloved Grandmother

On May 30, 2024, at Cypress Lawn in Colma, California, we will honor the life of my incredible grandmother, who touched so many lives with her kindness and generosity. Her spirit remained unbroken and her heart, endlessly giving.

In her memory, we are fundraising for Project PEARLS, a nonprofit organization dedicated to feeding children and elders in the slums of the Philippines. Grandma always believed in helping those in need and ensuring no one went hungry. Through this initiative, we hope to continue her mission of love and compassion.

As we cherish the wonderful memories we shared with her, we know she would be proud to see her legacy live on through this cause. We will always love you, Grandma.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Project PEARLS to help feed those in need, just as Grandma would have wanted. Our family's goal is to provide vegetarian meals with rice for eight feedings, starting on May 30th and continuing every Wednesday.

The program provides daily nutritious meals to children and their families, ensuring they receive the essential nutrients needed for healthy growth and development. By addressing immediate hunger needs, the program helps improve the overall well-being and academic performance of children. The Hunger Relief Program is a vital component of Project PEARLS' mission to break the cycle of poverty and support the holistic development of marginalized communities.
