During my miscarriage, I took misoprostol (cytotec), had 2 dilation and curettage (D&C) procedures, a CT scan, inpatient stay for endometritis, and exploration for possible uterine artery embolization to treat a suspected arteriovenous malformation (AVM). Seems like a lot of confusing words put together right? I can’t be the only one one silently screaming “What is happening here?”

As a certified nurse-midwife with a personal loss story, I set on a mission to uncover why women in the United States continue to have overcomplicated and traumatic early pregnancy loss experiences.

Approximately 1 in every 4 pregnancies end in loss, yet there is no outpatient management option for the millions of women that are affected.

Our mission is to humanize miscarriage care. We will decrease early pregnancy loss complications by focusing on safe and effective management, mental health support, and clinical follow up in an empathetic out-of-hospital setting. Our vision is to fill the current gap, providing accessible and affordable miscarriage care.
