In 2019, Schuylkill County's VISION, in collaboration with Schuylkill Haven Borough and partners, broke ground on a community garden!  Entering its third season, VISION and garden manager have big plans to expand the garden and fence it in.  Funds raised will support the expansion from 4 garden beds to 6 garden beds.  Funds will also be used to increase the proposed fencing from 70' x 40' to 100' x 60'. Remaining funds will be utilized to host educational events at the community garden location.

Select plots are dedicated to Evans Network of Companies, project sponsor,  and Schuylkill Haven Area food pantry.  Remaining plots are made available to Schuylkill Haven residents and organizations for a nominal fee, and with others being free for senior citizens (65 and up), veterans, and first responders.   Expansion will make more plots available for residents! Register here to be notified when plots are available and other garden news.  

The garden is also site of educational opportunities and community events.
