Every October, San Diego County Parks celebrates Hawktober, a month-long tribute to the powerful raptors who serve as animal ambassadors in our parks. These rescued hawks, owls, and falcons can't return to the wild, but they help us educate thousands of visitors each year about wildlife and conservation.
