in 2011, our dear friend Hazel visited the Gideon Children's Home in Kenya and fell in love with the children immediately. From there, she began sponsoring children, and stayed a constant friend, encourager, and prayer warrior through all of these years. The Awaken Love and Gideon Children's Home family has been deeply impacted by the life of Hazel Broadus and we are honored that her family has asked for donations to be made for them in her memory.

You can carry on the legacy that Hazel began and make an impact in the life of a child in her honor. All donations will go to housing, clothing, food, education, and medical care for the 600 orphaned children at the Gideon Children's Home in Kenya.
