IFW envisions a world where every mother and every family—regardless of income, race, neighborhood, or background—has access to compassionate, culturally-responsive healthcare, creating generations of healthy families and thriving communities.

We seek to provide high-quality, experienced, accessible perinatal care for families. We do this by offering in-house breastfeeding support and midwifery care. Additionally, we have a network of providers we partner with to offer holistic perinatal services to families. These services include but are not limited to lactation care, chiropractic care, massage therapy, mental health support, and midwifery care.

We also focus on creating a culture where all mamas feel comfortable. In order to achieve this goal, we seek to train women of color to become holistic perinatal providers including IBCLCs, midwives, and more. There is a great disparity when it comes to providers of color and we want to mend that gap in efforts to lower maternal death rates.
