Your help is needed for John and his family

John Phelps is the dean of the AWKNG School of Theology. If you haven't had the privilege of meeting John Phelps online or in class, John is one of the nicest and smartest guys around, and he spends a lot of time helping students with questions and keeping classes running smoothly. As many of you may already know, doctors found a mass in John's brain.

John had brain surgery on Monday 8/30/21. He will wait until Oct. for his surgery scar to heal before starting treatment. Please pray fervently for his recovery from surgery as well as any treatments following to be successful. Please also pray for his family pictured above - his wife Karen and his four children will need our prayers and gifts over the coming days.

John's current financial need is for $5,000 to cover his insurance deductible. That is our initial goal and we will continue with other goals as they become known.

The spiritual battle

The past few months have certainly been a spiritual battle resulting in physical issues for John Phelps, Mike Heiser and their families. These are the leaders of the AWKNG School of Theology. We continue to stand with them all in prayer, by sharing, giving and providing support however we are able. We know that as we pray God will be moving to provide support to this family, and we ask that Jesus will be glorified even through this difficult circumstance.
