Sweet Helen has already been through so much. This tiny 6-pound senior girl was found wandering alone as a stray, likely spending far too long without the care and comfort she deserved. At around 10 years old, Helen should be enjoying soft beds, gentle love, and peaceful naps… not fighting to survive on the streets. 🥺

Thankfully, Helen is now safe with Long Way Home Adoptables, and we are determined to give her the fresh start she deserves.

While we are incredibly grateful to learn that Helen is already spayed, she still has a long road ahead medically. Helen tested heartworm positive, and her treatment alone is expected to cost around $1,000. On top of that, her teeth are in heartbreaking condition. Years without proper dental care have left her mouth severely diseased and painful, and she urgently needs a full dental procedure.

At this time, her dental is estimated to cost anywhere from $800–$1,200, depending on how many teeth need to be removed, and unfortunately, it’s looking like she will need quite a few extractions. 💔

Despite everything, Helen is incredibly sweet and gentle. She deserves the chance to live the rest of her life pain-free, comfortable, and deeply loved.
