Brad is a 20 year old disabled trans man living in an abusive home with an alcoholic parent. Every day he remains there, he is forced to survive threats, fear, deprivation, and violence under the roof of the very person who should have protected him.

He does not have reliable access to food, hygiene products, or other basic necessities. His father threatens him with physical harm, blocks him from getting to critical appointments, and even throws away groceries Brad buys for himself. Brad is not just struggling. He is in danger.

Brad urgently needs help paying for food, daily survival essentials, and his HRT, which he cannot afford on his own. Because of his disabilities, regular nutrition is not optional. Without consistent meals, he becomes nearly bedridden, cannot carry out basic daily tasks, struggles to manage chronic pain, and risks missing the medical care he depends on. Being denied food and stability does not just make life harder for Brad. It directly threatens his health and safety.

This fundraiser is about helping Brad survive the present and escape the future that is waiting for him if he stays. The immediate goal is to cover food and essentials while building the funds he needs to get out of this abusive environment and secure stable housing near Lavender Alliance members in the DC area, where he can finally have a supportive community around him.

Brad should not have to keep choosing between hunger, pain, and abuse just to make it through another day. He needs a real chance to get somewhere safe.
