Service dogs can change someone’s life. They can be used for a variety of disabilities like PTSD, anxiety, POTS, IBS, Autism, blindness & many more.

At Legacy we provide multi-purpose service dogs for people across the country. Our program is lower cost than others in the state of Ohio. But, it still puts a financial strain on those who need them most.

By donating, you’re helping offset the cost of a service dog in our program. The average service dog from our program costs $13,000. Any extra money made will be put towards another dog to help another person.

The average cost of a service dog in the US is upwards of $30,000. Our are much lower. We don’t train dogs to make a huge profit. We take in one dog at a time to give our individual attention, and it costs a lot of money.

Food, veterinary care, supplies & a place to live can cost hundreds of dollars each month. Training a service dog requires specialized training, years of experience and countless hours of specialized training. This training and time costs thousands of dollars.
