Hi, all! Adam here. It has been an absolute pleasure hosting open mic nights for the past 8 months at Filomena's Bean Coffee in Davie, FL. I have gotten the joy of watching people share genuine heartfelt talents, witnessing artists share their work for the first time ever and be supported wholeheartedly, and building a beautiful and kind creative community brick by brick.

If you're here on this page right now, it means you also care about these events and keeping this creative community alive. All my events (including open mics, poetry jams, artist showcases, and many more fun events and meetups on the way!) are completely self-funded, including equipment, space rental costs, marketing/ticketing fees, and all the other work that goes into creating successful events. I hope to keep all events cheap or cost-optional for those who attend, but I absolutely cannot afford to do so without the help of this community. For those who have the financial means to do so, all donations will be 100% used to cover costs for equipment, space rental, and the work I will be doing to maintain these events.

Feel free to reach out at meet@findthewhimsy.com or visit Find The Whimsy if you have any questions/suggestions or want to get in touch for any reason. Thank you again for supporting me and our community in helping these open mic nights to continue to survive and thrive!
