Help get Fluffy the surgery he needs

Fellow Cat Lovers!

update 3/16: Fluffy is doing great post surgery. He’s healing well and the stitches are starting to dissolve.

His emergency care cost over $1,800 and with your help I was able to get the surgery done and paid for within the week. Unfortunately, some of my personal funds and the funds for spaying and neutering community cats went into Fluffy’s care.

I’ve been working extra hours at my day job trying to bridge the gap. If you’d like to help you can still donate to Fluffy’s surgery costs.

He is also cryptorchid (has undescended testicles) so we weren’t able to neuter him at the same time as the eye surgery. It’s a more expensive procedure than normal neuter. That is now scheduled for 3/27. We are going through a low cost clinic which will be soooo much more affordable.

Thank you again for all your support! ♥️

Update 3/3: Fluffy is dropped off for surgery. We are still shy of our goal, so please keep sharing our cause.

Fingers crossed the eye is salvageable, but we are prepared for the worst.

Update 3/1: Fluffy is doing well staying comfortable with pain management while we wait for surgery. That cost me another $130. So we are in the hole $330 and need a minimum of $1500 to get him into surgery.

So far we are half way to the goal of $2000! Thank you for all your love and support. Keep sharing Fluffy’s story so we can give this handsome guy a chance at a really good life.

****************

Fluffy is a young kitty on our wait list to get neutered in March. Unfortunately, he’s caught an eye infection that needs immediate treatment.

I’ve already spent $200 just getting him a spot at urgent care for tomorrow morning (2/28). That’s just to have him seen. He will certainly need medications like pain relievers and antibiotics.

The Meowscue is run solely on donations and my small paycheck. We’ve already had one trip to emergency this month, and even though we said goodbye it was still a $350 bill.

Veterinary care is the most expensive part of saving kitties. But with your help we can get them treatment and avoid humane euthanasia.

It takes a community to make a difference in the lives of these stray kitties. No donation is too small.

Thank you for your continued support and encouragement.

Best,

Tracy- owner of the East Rochester MeowscueI’ve blurred the image because of the graphic nature of the eye infection. Some people are more sensitive than others and out of respect for them, I won’t show graphic images.
