Help Me Turn Unity Bridge Project Into a Lifeline

Goal: $600 — to secure 501(c)(3) nonprofit status

I’m not building Unity Bridge Project from theory.
I’m building it from experience.

At 15 years old, I was abandoned for being gay.
What followed wasn’t just homelessness—it was instability, uncertainty, and the constant question of whether I mattered.

I moved through transitional living programs, shelters, and spaces that were meant to help—but what I remember most wasn’t just the need for housing.

It was the need to feel safe.
To feel seen.
To feel like I wasn’t just another number in a system.

There were moments—small but powerful—when someone took the time to acknowledge me, to care, to remind me that my life had value. Those moments changed everything. They helped shape the person I am today.

And now, I’m building that same kind of space for others.

Unity Bridge Project exists for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults who have been pushed aside—
those navigating homelessness, rejection, and the emotional weight of feeling unwanted.

Our mission is simple, but powerful:
to create a space where people feel safe, supported, and reminded that they matter.

Not just once.
But consistently.

Right now, we’re at a critical step.

To grow, to apply for grants, to build real programs, and to operate with the legitimacy needed to truly serve our community—we need to become an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

The filing costs $600.

That’s it.
$600 stands between where we are now… and the ability to expand, sustain, and reach more lives.
