Help Ryder Heal: Hospital and Recovery Fund
🐾 Help Ryder Heal: Emergency Vet Visit & Recovery Fund ❤️🩹
Thank you so much for being here and checking out Ryder’s fundraiser 🙏
Late at night night on February 9th, Ryder was rushed to the ER at VEG Animal Hospital in Paramus. He was suddenly very sick. He couldn’t walk straight, kept falling over, his eyes were darting rapidly back and forth, and he kept spinning in circles. It was a really scary time for Ryder.
Thankfully, Lara got him emergency care right away. Ryder had to stay overnight, receive IV fluids, medications, and a full exam to stabilize him.
The vet believes Ryder is experiencing something called Canine Vestibular Syndrome. It’s kind of like sudden vertigo in dogs. It affects their inner ear or brain and throws off their balance. They can seem really disoriented, dizzy, with head tilts, flickering eyes, and a hard time walking. It can look really scary, but thankfully most dogs improve with rest and medication over the course of a few days to a few weeks.
Right now, Ryder is recovering in the loving care of Lara and Kristin. He’s already starting to walk a little better, and his eye movements are calming down. We’re hopeful and staying close to him every step of the way. 🐾
We’re raising funds to help cover his emergency vet bills. Every donation goes directly to Ryder’s medical care and recovery support.
We’ll keep this page updated as he continues to heal and in case any new vet costs come up. Your support truly means the world to Ryder and everyone who cares for him.
Thank you again for being here and for showing up for Ryder. If you’re not able to donate right now, sharing this campaign is also a huge help 🙏
With Love and Gratitude,
Ryder, Ryder’s Family, Lara and Kristin, and I Save Animals
