Support The Unheard Stories Project!

The Unheard Stories Project is a youth-led, after-school program that brings together teenagers with immigrant and refugee experience in Winooski to develop and share stories of identity, belonging, and lived experiences. If you missed the show this year, this is a great opportunity to support us!

Due to a decrease in funding this year, we need community support to ensure next year’s programming! We’re raising $15,000 by July 1st to continue this vital program.

The year-long Project nurtures a supportive and joyful space rooted in relationship and creative expression, culminating in a community performance where students express themselves through dance, poetry, theater, and more. This year, performances touched on themes of love and grief, immigration and ICE detention, family and memory, racial identity, war and fear, and appreciation for the Winooski community.

We need to come together as a community to fill the widening funding gaps for the vital programming that our students need.

Unheard Stories Funding goes to:

· Student stipends to make it possible for students to prioritize this community work

· Snacks and food for students

· Hiring of tech support for the final show

· Printed and group materials

· Program leadership stipends

We appreciate any and all support to reach our goal of $15,000.
