Every gift here becomes something real on our tables and in our gatherings.

EngAGE Beverly is opening as a neighborhood hub of memory-friendly connection on Chicago's South Side, a warm place where older adults, especially those navigating memory changes, and their care partners can gather, create, and belong. Below are the things we need to welcome our first participants: art supplies, a good cup of coffee, music, comfort, and a shared meal.

Choose whatever speaks to you. Every gift is tax-deductible, and every dollar goes straight into opening our doors. Prefer to give an item or a local gift card instead? Email julie@engagebeverly.org and we will make it easy.

Built with care: EngAGE Beverly is a recognized 501(c)(3) public charity, registered with the Illinois Attorney General's Charitable Trust Bureau. We have seated our founding Board of Directors, built detailed plans for our hub and our finances, and formed relationships with respected memory-friendly organizations and professionals. We are now preparing the people, materials, and neighborhood partnerships it takes to open responsibly.

Our day gatherings are small and nonmedical, for adults experiencing early memory changes who remain independent in their daily personal care.

More than one way to help: make a gift, share this registry, introduce us to a possible neighborhood home, or join our growing community of volunteers and supporters. Every one of these helps set the table.

Gifts in kind we'd also welcome: puzzles and classic card games, new or lightly used art and craft supplies, a small Bluetooth speaker, scarves, hats, and costume jewelry for our activity collection, small musical instruments (drums, bells, ukelele, etc), unbreakable vases and dried flowers, baskets and lap blankets, tableware, and gift cards to Beverly grocers and bakeries.

What we're building toward: EngAGE Beverly is the first EngAGE. We are starting in one neighborhood, on purpose, to build and prove a model of belonging for older adults and their care partners. As support grows, we hope to see EngAGE take root in other Chicago neighborhoods, each one shaped by the people who live there. When you give, you are not only helping us open in Beverly. You are helping show that a place like this can exist, and could one day come to your neighborhood too.
