On May 6, 2026, Viktor sustained severe burn injuries during combat operations in Ukraine.

He suffered extensive flame burns affecting more than 55% of his body, including the head, torso, both arms, and both legs, along with blast-related trauma and burn shock. He remains in serious condition and continues receiving intensive treatment in Ukraine.

Viktor now requires highly specialized surgical burn care abroad, including repeated wound treatment, necrectomy, skin grafting, reconstructive procedures, and long-term rehabilitation.

A European burn center has already agreed to accept him for further treatment.

His medical team abroad is currently preparing for admission. The remaining challenge is organizing safe medical transportation to the hospital.

At the R.T. Weatherman Foundation, we coordinate international medical evacuations for wounded Ukrainian servicemen requiring treatment unavailable or difficult to access during wartime conditions in Ukraine.

Since 2023, our team has coordinated approximately 150 evacuations to hospitals across Europe, working closely with partners in Lithuania, Germany, the Netherlands, and other countries.

As the number of critically wounded patients continues to increase, more soldiers now require advanced reconstructive and burn treatment abroad.

Because of the severity of Viktor’s injuries, this evacuation must be carried out using specialized medical transport with continuous monitoring and medical support throughout the journey.

The expected transportation cost for this case is estimated at approximately $2,670.

While our foundation continues funding evacuations through our operational budget, external support allows us to help more wounded soldiers and continue relieving pressure on overstretched Ukrainian hospitals.

For certain complex cases, we therefore open direct evacuation campaigns — allowing YOU to directly participate in one soldier’s path to treatment and recovery.

All donations from this fundraiser will go directly toward Viktor’s medical evacuation and transport.
