Alexsa is a trans asylee and needs help with a family member's medical bills while she's between jobs: "Hello LGTBI community and more, my name is Alexsa, I am a migrant Garifuna trans girl. I arrived and left my country Honduras due to the high violence and discrimination that we experience daily in our country to the point that we can no longer live, they kill us just for being part of the LGTBI community. I traveled to Mexico in the second migrant caravan of 2018. Thank God who has put good-hearted people along the way; as a trans woman, it is not easy but I thank my God that I am in the United States and I am safe. Today I come to touch the hearts of my community and anyone who wants to support me. My brother-in-law had a brutal accident in Honduras that almost took his life. Right now, I am not working. And I am the one who supports the family since I arrived here, so I come to touch your hearts, thank you very much in advance."
